Tomiko Renya Version 2by Enixspirit

oK, now this is version 2...i think...maybe like 10 BUT I SAY ITS TWO!! ok, i put more shading in it and words. but i having problems with the font and stuff. anywho, this pic took me like 80 layers in total to do. i was testing what a good size would be. i think this is 700x500 or something. changing the size sort of played around with the way the font looks so i'll be testing more effective ones later on.

Wow, I like this one best among your pictures. The background is so pretty! Wah?? 80 layers? >.<; thats crazy. But it made the diffeance I guess ^^

Nice piece. The head seems a bit too small though. I also think the legs would look better if you used a straight for the shin. I'd also add a few more tones to the figure it's self. It seems a bit flat esp compared to the background. Your BG is great. I wouldn't really touch that unless you spot something you wanna tweak. Good work.

today's experiment..... success! The pic came out looking GREAT! I am at a loss for words, actually. I think i see why it took so many layers to do (80? you hafta be joking). it looks like you decided not to shade her face? definately a good job.

i try to be careful when working with the face. still kinda new at shading so im taking baby steps with it. lol

when it comes to shading the face, i have a lot of trouble...

but i think you helped me out on this one. thanks, man! yeah, shading well over all can be a pain too, though. You're doing well, so i can't wait to see more.
